We run Ukulele Jam Nights in various locations in Portsmouth and the surrounding areas. For details of upcoming events, please see the event list on this page. The jam nights are a lot of fun and a chance to play together with other musicians in a relaxed, judgement-free environment.
The sessions are designed to be suitable for players of all abilities, even if you’ve never touched a ukulele before. We start each session with a warm-up and then learn and play through 2 or 3 well-known songs. Take a look at the video below to get a feel for what the evenings are like.
Sessions last 2 hours and contain regular breaks for you to grab a drink, practise what you’ve just learnt or ask any questions.
Currently we run Ukulele Jam Nights on the last Wednesday of every month at the Spice Island Inn in Old Portsmouth at 7:30-9:30pm. It’s £5 to take part which is collected on the night.
