Portsmouth Music Academy will be back at Victorious Festival this summer with more of our gloriously decorated pianos at the PMA Piano Tree!
“What is the Piano Tree?!” you ask. Well it’s simple. We get a bunch of pianos (real, upright ones), we paint them in vibrant, colourful and wacky designs and put them around a tree at Victorious Festival. Anyone at the festival is then welcome to come and have a play. Whether you’ve never touched a piano before or you’re a professional pianist, you’re welcome to come and have a tinkle. AND we host a bunch of awesome acoustic performances throughout the weekend. It’s a great community-driven event and we can’t wait to see you there.
For the 3rd year running, we’re giving YOU the chance to come up with a design for one of the pianos. Our favourite design will be professionally painted onto a real piano and featured at the tree at Victorious Festival 2023 for all festival-goers to enjoy. Our winner will also receive a pair of Friday tickets to the festival and a PMA goodie bag, including merch and a free music lesson in the instrument of your choice.
