We’re very excited to be partnering with Ovation MusicΒ to launch a brand new band workshop for 8-18 year oldsΒ on Saturdays.Β To start off we’re offering the first 3 sessions FREE of charge! Sessions take place at Portsmouth Music Academy’s Southsea centre at 10:30-11:30am on Saturdays from 4th March.
The sessions provide aΒ fun, friendly environment for young people to learn new songs and gain confidence playing togetherΒ in a band. The 3 trial sessions are an opportunity to come along and see what it’s all about, with no obligation to continue.
- Spaces available for guitar, piano, drums, vocals and bass guitar
- No band experience necessary
- Students get the opportunity to learn a song with our dedicated and fun tutor and then play it together with students on other instruments
- The sessions and material are designed to be appropriate for students of all abilities, from complete beginners through to intermediate and advanced, meaning that everyone can gain valuable performance experience regardless of ability
- Sessions are run by Ovation’s fun and experiences tutors
Ovation Music is an organisationΒ thatΒ specialises in hosting weekly live band workshops and performance opportunities for young musicians in the local community.
