PMA Fun Day 2022 Announcement! 🥳 We are very p PMA Fun Day 2022 Announcement! 🥳 We are very pleased to announce that the PMA Fun Day will be taking place next month on Sunday 17th July! 🎉 For those of you who have not yet been to a Fun Day, it's a fantastic day put on at our Cosham site and it's completely free to come down and get involved. We will have a BBQ, a candy floss machine, ice cream, a bouncy castle, a bar for the adults to enjoy among various other games for the children. Most importantly though, there will be live performances throughout the day by our amazing students. Looking back at our posts from this time 2 years a Looking back at our posts from this time 2 years ago 🤯 Along with everyone else, in March 2020 we began the long journey through the pandemic. Everything changed so suddenly, and for the first time the future of PMA was uncertain. Looking back on posts like these, we are more grateful than ever for our fantastic community of students and teachers who rode the wave with us. Thanks to you all, we have bounced back stronger than ever and could not be more excited for the years ahead. We have so many big plans and cannot wait to share them with you all! We can't believe it's already been over a month si We can't believe it's already been over a month since our first PMA Recital in what felt like forever! 🎶 A massive, massive well done once again to everyone who performed and another big thank you to everyone who came to show support - the turnout was fantastic! It's always amazing to see our students getting up on stage to share their hard work and talent, and it's safe to say they really outdid themselves this time around. Join us for performances from our piano, guitar and vocal students of all ages. Come and show your support at what, for many, will be their very first LIVE performance! 🎹 🎸🎤 Show starts at 2:30pm (doors open at 2:15pm) on Saturday 12th February at @coshambaptist church. 💥🔥 It's Meet The Team time, first one of the 💥🔥 It's Meet The Team time, first one of the year! 🔥💥 We're kicking things off with a relatively new face - meet Dan! Name: Daniel Instrument: Guitar 🎸 Favourite Artist: Foo Fighters Background: Dan started playing guitar when he was 14 after being hugely inspired by Green Day, Maroon 5 and Foo Fighters. In his late teens he wrote and recorded his first album, as well as joining Paul Van Ryan & The Late Knights where they performed shows across the UK. In 2012, Dan enrolled at the Academy of Contemporary Music where he graduated with First-Class Honours in his degree! Since then he has played in numerous bands across different genres, and has been lucky enough to twice headline Guildford's G Live Beer Festival, support bands like Toploader and Republica and even play at an event for Coronation Street! In addition to his performing career, Dan loves to bring his skills to students across Surrey and Hampshire and he is an excellent example of the kind of working musician we love to work with at PMA. 🎸🎵 Fun Fact: Dan is a keen polyglot, and so far has made steps to learn French, German, Portuguese and Danish. 😮 #pma #music #lessons #meettheteam

They do amazing work and we are excited to support them! Hello and welcome to today's Meet the Team! Meet I Hello and welcome to today's Meet the Team! Meet Izzii - Name: Izzii Instrument: Vocals 👩‍🎤 Favourite artist: Boys II Men Background: Izzii started seriously pursuing her singing at age 14, and got signed a year later at 15! She wasted no time at all, and began touring with various upcoming artists at 16 while beginning to teach at the same time. Since then, Izzii teaches on some days, runs a choir on another, and sings in multiple function bands on the days in between! With her bands, Izzii has performed in the Jazz Café, the 02 and the Mayflower among many others. We welcomed Izzii to PMA in 2018, and it has proved a tremendous asset to have such an excellent musician on the team! 😊 🙌 Fun fact: Izzii has travelled the world twice over, with Bali being her favourite place! 🌍 #vocalist #singer #portsmouthmusicacademy #portsmouth #teacher #team
